As a Sustainable Development Policy Expert and Facilitator, Franziska specializes in gender and climate policy, gender-smart financing, gender equality and the voluntary carbon market, gender and agriculture, and the Agenda 2030. She has leveraged her expertise to contribute to several projects, including Cabo Verde’s updated NDC and various blue carbon initiatives.
With a background in professional facilitation, Franziska has also organized, designed and facilitated numerous projects for development cooperation organizations such as GIZ. Her expertise includes the development of international SDG training formats, the design and delivery of trainings on topics such as green economy, Agenda 2030, gender, trade and development. She creates workshop formats tailored for up to 100 participants (on- and offline), utilizing the principles of Design Thinking for sustainable development.
Franziska holds a M.A. in Gender Studies and History from Humboldt University Berlin, as well as a MSc. in International Management from Imperial College Business School.
