Nathalie Roth
Managing Director and FounderNathalie is Founder and Managing Director and senior advisor for environmental and international carbon markets, climate finance, valuation of climate change impacts and sustainable development benefits and its integration in financial structuring. Nathalie Roth has acquired a strong track record in working with private sector and government in developing carbon purchase and carbon management strategies and policies, including the implementation of the carbon procurement plans, due diligence of projects, contract negotiations and portfolio monitoring.
Nathalie has over eighteen years of professional experience in the environment and finance sector (insurance, banking, environmental finance ratings, greenhouse gas brokerage) with relevant appointments in the energy banking teams at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, risk engineering at Winterthur Insurance (AXA) in Zurich as well as the Greenhouse Gas desk of a leading environmental brokerage company in New York.
Nathalie holds a master degree in Environmental Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and has earned, as a Fulbright Grantee, a Master Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York, with a focus on finance and banking. Nathalie is a certified finance expert by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She is fluent in English, German, French and Luxembourgish.
Nathalie currently serves a member of the eligibility committee of the Climate Finance Label for investment funds offered by LuxFLAG, the Luxembourg fund labeling agency.

Dr. Moritz von Unger
Partner and Advisor to 4ClimateMoritz is senior counsel, attorney and policy expert specializing in international climate finance and climate regulatory questions, with a particular focus on carbon markets, results-based finance, and innovative natural capital asset generation. He has extensive experience in advising governments, international finance institutions, as well as the private sector, on climate finance, regulatory matters and investments in low carbon interventions, on emissions trading worldwide, project structuring and due diligence. He is also an expert in high-level regulatory and institutional country climate transformations and capacity-building. As a former member of the European Commission staff, he is a first-hand authority on public and administrative law and brings a deep sensitivity to working with multi-party international organizations. Moritz holds a Ph.D. (Doctor iuris) in international law and is a member of the bar of Berlin. He publishes frequently and speaks English, French and Spanish along with his native German. In his spare time, Moritz enjoys spending time in the mountains, exploring back trails and ski-touring.

team memberAs a Sustainable Development Policy Expert and Facilitator, Franziska specializes in gender and climate policy, gender-smart financing, gender equality and the voluntary carbon market, gender and agriculture, and the Agenda 2030. She has leveraged her expertise to contribute to several projects, including Cabo Verde’s updated NDC and various blue carbon initiatives.
With a background in professional facilitation, Franziska has also organized, designed and facilitated numerous projects for development cooperation organizations such as GIZ. Her expertise includes the development of international SDG training formats, the design and delivery of trainings on topics such as green economy, Agenda 2030, gender, trade and development. She creates workshop formats tailored for up to 100 participants (on- and offline), utilizing the principles of Design Thinking for sustainable development.
Franziska holds a M.A. in Gender Studies and History from Humboldt University Berlin, as well as a MSc. in International Management from Imperial College Business School.

Tom Pfeiffer
Administrative Director LuxembourgTom is Administrative Director Luxembourg. He is a ILA, INSEAD certified, iNED on the Boards of Investment funds and corporates and non for profit organisations. He is independent ESG senior advisor for sustainable finance, sustainability reporting, corporate sustainability management and sustainability governance.
He is advising the Luxembourg Finance Labelling Agency (LuxFLAG) about the eligibility of label applicants as member of the ESG, and Green Bond Label Eligibility Committee. He is the Chairman of the Inclusive Finance Network (InFiNE) and contributes to the deployment of inclusive finance worldwide.
Tom has a 22 years history in the BIG 4 audit environment, of which he was 3 years Sustainability and CSR leader where he was involved in sustainability assurance and advisory engagements before he chose in 2019 to be independent and focus on sustainability services.
He has a master degree in business and finance sciences and is a fellow of the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership where he was certified in Sustainability Management.

Independent Consultant21Chandreyee is an environment and climate change professional with international work experience in coordination and project management in the fields of political economy, international climate policy, international climate finance and UNFCCC processes. She has extensive experience in analyzing the UNFCCC negotiations and the relevance of various climate finance mechanisms for developing countries. She closely follows the UNFCCC negotiations on market mechanisms, climate finance and transparency.
She joined 4Climate in 2019 bringing in her strong understanding of the impacts of climate change negotiations on international climate policy and climate finance. At 4Climate, her focus is on i) advising government entities and organizations on climate finance strategies, ii) assisting in the evaluation and monitoring of climate finance projects, iii) advising various clients interested in newly evolving avenues for carbon market development.
Chandreyee holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a PhD from the University of Zurich where she worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the Chair of Political Economy and Development from 2014-2018. In her PhD, she investigated the allocation efficiency of climate aid and its strategic use in global climate negotiations. She is fluent in English, Bengali, Hindi and has conversational knowledge in German and Urdu.
